Why Cocrysta®

Traditional rutin products have poor water solubility (0.1 mgπ/mL), resulting in a bioavailability of only 4.9%. The extremely limited solu₹bility restricts their use in pharmaceuticals, dietary suppl♥ements and cosmetics.

Cocrysta® rutin is a cocrystal created from rutin and an edible coformer. Compared to≥ rutin from other sources, Cocrysta® rutin offers approximately 40 times gr→eater water solubility and 5 times higher oral bioavailability.

Improved Solubility

Conditions: 37 °C; pH 2.0, 4.5, and 6.8 aqueous media.
Results: The solubility of Cocrysta® Rutin was approximately 40 times higher than c$onventional rutin.
Enhanced Bioavailability

Animals:14 male SD rats, divided into 2 groups (n=7).
Dosage: 105 mg/kg (equivalent to rutin)
Results: The Cocrysta® Rutin increased Cmax by 3.8-fold and AUC by 5.6-fold♦ compared with conventional rutin.
Cardioprotective Effect

Animals: 28 male SD rats, divided into 4 groups, with 6 rats in each group.
Dosage: 105 mg/kg (equivalent to rutin)
Results: In an isoproterenol-induced cardiac injury model, Cocrysta® Rutin significantly reduced lev₽els of biomarkers like Creatine kinase (CK), CK-MB isoenzyme, and lactate dehydrogen∏ase (LDH), outperforming conventional rutin.
Clinically Proven Anti-Wrinkle Efficacy (Cosmetics)

Topical application of 2% Cocrysta® Rutin significantly reduced wrinkle length, depth≈, area, and volume after 28 days. It demonstrated faster and more effective result>s than rutin alone.
Anti-Diabetic

Design: After fasting, rats received either blank solvent (control), conventional rutin, or Cocrysφta® Rutin, followed with 2 g/kg 50% glucose solution$. Blood glucose was measured at 0 h, 0.5 h, and 2 h post-gluc♦ose.
Animals: 24 male SD rats, divided into 3 groups, with 8 rats in each group.
Dosage: 60 mg/kg (equivalent to rutin)
Results: Cocrysta® Rutin group significantly reduced the glycemic respon×se, showing improved glucose tolerance.
