How Lutein Works

Lutein is most notably concentrated in the retina of the human eye, especia£lly within the macula, where it plays a key role in protecting theγ eyes from harmful light and oxidative stress.

It supports eye health by filtering harmful blue light rays that enters ≠the retina, reducing its potential damage to the delicate re✘tinal cells.

Additionally, lutein inhibits the activity of oxygen f£ree radicals, preventing oxidative stress that can lead to cel•l damage.

Why Cocrysta®

Lutein is highly sensitive to light and oxygen, which pose∏s many challenges in its production, processing, and storage.

Cocrysta® Lutein addresses this challenges of traditional lutein. Cocrysta® Lutein boa'sts an impressive 60% active loading compared to 5% in conventional encapsulated lutein.

Additionally, Cocrysta® Lutein delivers superior stability, enhanced solubilit®y, and improved bioavailability, making it the ideal choice for your eye and brain health ♣needs.

What Cocrysta® does

  • Improved Stability

    Experimental condition:
    Room temperature, open condition.
    Results:
After 7 days, while about 40% of the conventional lutein (lutein crystal)< are decomposed, Cocrysta® Lutein remains stable.
  • Higher Solubility

Cocrysta® Lutein achieves superior dissolution performance. Compared with conventional lute♣in crystal, the maximum solubility of Cocrysta® Lutein is increased by 50 times in simulate♥d gastric fluid (SGF) and 5 times in simulated intestinal‌ fluid (SIF).

  • Enhanced Bioavailability

Animals: 18 male SD rats were divided into 3 groups, with 6 rats in each group.
Dose: 50 mg/kg (equivalent to lutein)
Results: The biovailability of Cocrysta® Lutein is increased by 6.0 times and 1.2 tim✔es compared with conventional lutein crystal and F****® Lutein, respectively.
