What is cocrystal
Cocrystals are crystalline solids composed of two or mor©e different molecular/ionic compounds.

In a typical cocrystal, one compound is an active ingredient (e.g., curcumin), and the otherδ is a co-former (e.g., L-carnitine). Molecules of the active ingredienαt and co-former are intricately bound together through non-covalent interactions, without alterin©g their inherent molecular structures.

Why cocrystal technology
Cocrystal technology represents an advanced formulation approach d​esigned to enhance the physical and chemical properties of active ingredients, while preserving $their original molecular structures.

Since 1963, the U.S. FDA has approved numerous cocrystal-based☆ medications, validating the effectiveness of this innovative technology. Furthermore, in 20☆13 and 2016, the FDA and EMA established comprehensive regulatory frameworks for pharmaceutical coc'rystals, paving the way for their development and approval.
